Our Services
Technically, Sovereign Seniors LLC is an insurance agency. But we like to think of ourselves as educators more than anything else. The value we provide is in the succinct, easily-digestible explanations that clarify Medicare…which is where most people get hung-up. We then dive into the risks & costs of all the private insurance options out there so you can make an informed and confident decision.
Our services include:
- Maximizing cost savings during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
- Individual meetings for those turning 65 and enrolling in Medicare
- Custom analysis for those with the choice of Medicare or employer coverage
- Group presentations on The Basics of Medicare

There is no charge for our services. EVER. We get paid a commission from the insurance companies if you like us and decide to purchase your insurance through us. And most of our commissions are standardized–so our advice is unbiased. We are headquartered in Louisville, KY where we conduct meeting in the Middletown area and, in addition to Kentucky, our agency also services Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina and Ohio.
We offer Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C), Medicare Supplement Plans, Dental and Vision plans, and Hospital Indemnity Plans. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently, we represent four Drug Plans from two different carriers, and sixty four Medicare Advantage Plans from six different carriers. The Dedicated Team
Ten years ago, company owner Tracy Thomas, CSA, took a part-time job with a growing insurance agency that was operating from the basement of a house. With patience, consistency, and focus, Tracy’s experience morphed from back-office support to the formation of her own agency, Sovereign Seniors LLC in 2014.
Tracy is a proud Hoosier and graduate of Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. She’s lived in Louisville for over 25 years and shares a beautiful and fulfilling life with her son (Brody), godson (Isiah), boyfriend (Uno) and the absolutely most perfect dog, Dot.
Sara Sandefur, Client Service Manager, is a licensed agent who has been an important part of our team for the past three years. She brings dedication and warmth to everything she does — qualities her clients notice right away.
Outside of work, Sara’s world revolves around the people (and pets) she loves most. She and her husband Neil are kept wonderfully busy by their three kids — Kyla, Briana, and Garrett — and their dog Loulou, who probably has the most opinions of anyone in the house. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines at one of the kids’ sporting events, you’ll find her cheering on her Cardinals and Bengals with the kind of loyalty that never wavers, win or lose.
Michelle Willan, Client Service Specialist, joined the team in 2026, with an extensive background in supporting clients and managing projects across a variety of industry segments. She has a passion for helping others and looks forward to interacting with our clients.
Michelle and her husband, Jason, have been married for over twenty years and have two teenage daughters. When not spending time with her family, Michelle enjoys reading, taking long walks, playing trivia, buying & selling real estate, and exploring new restaurants and breweries with friends. She’s also a lifelong fan of Indiana sports (Go Hoosiers!).
